CenterPoint was
originally founded 1996 by veteran entrepreneurs and former
executives of
Convex Computer, Mostek, Texas Instruments and Tivoli Systems.
Together, our Partners and advisors bring decades of executive
management expertise gained from building information technology
start-ups into world-class corporations. Their operational and
financial experience encompasses corporate turnarounds, acquisitions,
mergers and IPOs.
MENTORSHIP
CenterPoint
has a proven history of actively supporting entrepreneurs. CenterPoint's
Partners co-founded and continue to invest in STARTech,
a highly recognized technology incubator with offices in Austin
and Richardson, Texas. STARTech has helped scores of entrepreneurs
create start-up companies, develop breakthrough technologies,
and acquire venture funding.
FUNDS
To
date, CenterPoint has raised three funds totaling $450
million. Our funding is provided by our Limited Partners -
a group of large institutions as well as private investors, including
CenterPoint's own Partners and advisors. Our uncommonly high
rate
of return is reflected by repeat investments from this group.
